Volunteers needed to place flags for Memorial Day

Meet at Hillside Cemetery on Highland St at the flag. Flags will be provided and instructions will be given on how to recognize a veteran's marker/grave site without the typical flat marker. Riverside Cemetery on Dudley Rd will also need assistance.
Disposal of "torn and tattered": drop them off at the Townsend VFW, 491A Main Street, Townsend, Ma in the mail box in the parking lot. They may also be dropped off at the Veteran Service Office in Town Hall on Tuesdays during business hours.
