Community Services

The essential purpose of the Community Services Coordinator is to create/ facilitate access to social service programs, community education opportunities, support, and assistance to Townsend residents, their families, and caregivers. The coordinator has a preventative and reactive role working to connect individuals and families to the appropriate levels of care for wellness and prevention relating to mental health and substance use. In addition, the Community Services Coordinator will be acting Project Manager for all ARPA-funded wellness services, working in partnership with the Council on Aging (COA), Fire/ EMS and Police, and Recreation Department, as well as local Non-Profit North Middlesex Community Cares.
