John moved to send the letter to the FOB and cc the BOS. All were in favor motion carried.
Superintendents Report/Unforeseen
Roger reported that at the last department heads meeting it was announced that here is approx. A 740,000-budget short fall. The generally census by the BOS and Town Administrator is the town will not go for a prop. 2.5% override. Budget cut may need to be made.
Vandalism to signs on the common.
Two signs at the Route 119 entrance to the Common were sprayed with paint. The Police are aware of the situation and investigating. The cost of the signs is $32.00 each. The department will pass the info on to the police. There was brief conversation as to whether the department should publicize the vandalism. However, this might only encourage more.
