Discuss:
Adams Dam: Possibly but a sign at Adams Dam.
Roll back of COVID-19 restrictions. State is now limiting number of people allowed at outdoor functions to 50. Town wide yard (playground) would like to use the common to pass out maps.
Common sides walk Project: Still waiting to hear from state about project deadline. Project protocols including prevailing wage and traffic control have been sent to engineer. Concrete would be pumped in from back of common so Police detail would not be needed as this could add to the project cost. If the state funding is not enough department would need to request additional funding at a special town meeting
Truck replacement: New truck as been ordered, funds were approved at the annual town meeting. Truck cost is $41,430.72
Superintendents Report:
Red Truck: Transmission went repair would be about $2400. Truck isn’t worth repairing salvage the parts to use in other vehicles makes more sense.
There has been conversation regarding the Board of Health/Recycling Center and about whose control it should be under. It was mentioned that it could be transferred to either the Cemetery and Parks or Highway Department. For now it is remaining under the Board of Health.
Crew has been working on cleaning stones. Large portion of Section 6 has been done.
