The meeting was opened at 12PM present were John Barrett, Tubby Boucher, Ray Boyes, Roger Rapoza and Pam Haman.

 

Bill and Payroll were reviewed approved and signed.

Discuss:

 

Building Maintenance 29 Highland Street: Roger would like to have the black top area in front of the office sealed.  Cost would be $500.00.  Tubby moved to have area sealed per Rogers’s recommendation. All were in favor motion carried.

Gutter slashing needs to be done on Kimball House; Cost would be $800.00 Tubby move to have Roger proceed with project.  All were in favor motion carried.

Sidewalk:  Roger is working with engineering firm on the Common Sidewalk project.  Department is waiting to hear from state about the status of the funds.  All paper work has been submitted to Boston.  There is a possibility that do to the current medical emergency (COVID-19) the funds may not be available.

Memorial Day:  Memorial Day parade and other events have been cancelled for this year.  The Department is doing the normal preparations.

 

Superintendents Report:

 

Two new hires should be having their physicals in the next week or so.  Once cleared they will begin working.

 

Howard Park:  The crew will start over there after Memorial Day,

 

Playground; Cleaning brush and other debris so that it will be ready to open once the state gives the ok for parks/playgrounds to open,

 

No next meeting scheduled at this time.
