Septic Permits

A permit is required before beginning construction, alteration, major repairs and improvements to your septic system. Deep hole soil tests are required in the proposed septic system location.

  • Please see www.nashoba.org under common forms and applications in the Environmental Tab you will find all the permit applications.
The Board of Health would like to remind all homeowners, when or if you plan on selling your home, please be sure to get a Title V inspection as soon as possible. The report is valid for 2 years from the report date. A Title V report can be extended for an additional year if you provide two annual pumping receipts, Don't let a surprise ruin your sale or put off your closing date.

Anyone who has a private well must also have a passing Water Quality test performed by a Nashoba Sanitarian that includes testing for Radon and Arsenic.  This test is valid for three (3) years.
